Terrific design for a public course, generally, and a very memorable layout that is as nice to look at as it is to play.

Still a little rough around the edges.

In the category of "affordable," this is my favorite course in the whole state. It's not perfect, mind you; it is a state-run course manned by government employees, so the service and maintenance aren't the world's best. But if you want bang for the buck, you got it here. Each hole is memorable, especially the signature waterfall par 3. The greens stay in pretty good shape, especially for this type of public course, although the large amount of trees nearby tend to leave some of them littered with leaves. There are a few holes with bare spots in/near the fairways, and once or twice the holes are too close together. But, the above are my only reservations to recommending this course wholeheartedly. Fairly hilly layout in places, so a cart may be wise for those who aren't at least somewhat fit. Enjoy!

Great value, gorgeous layout,very hilly at times.Water comes in to play when you least expect it, & the scorecard map isn''t real helpful keeping you dry. Some greens had overhead fans blowing cool air-very nice in August. Fairways were in great shape.

Lots of brown greens, but still fast & soft(I couldn''t figure that one out, but it was true).

What an unexpected little jewel this turned out to be!.Great layout, great value, greens were pretty brown but still very fast & soft/receiving. The little waterfall running infront of the #16 green was a beautiful touch.
