Shoots in the 70s

Laurelwood is located in Eugene and is a regulation 9-hole course. 3212 off the back tees. It's a very hilly course with many elevated tee boxes. It has all kinds of terrain. A few forced carries, dog legs. It is a medium open course. It's one of those course you need to play a few times to get a feel for it. The most difficult thing about this course is its greens. Any ball hit above the cup tends to roll off the front. So keeping your ball in front of the cup is a must to score low. In my opinion, the greens are a bit too slanted from back to front to be totally fair. Conditions are good. Greens are fast. Greens tend to be on the smallish side. It's a beautiful set in the trees with lots of elevated shots. Fun course to play. Pro shop recommends that this course is not for beginners.

Customer Service

There is a guy who takes you money in the pro shop, but other than that there is no service. Cost is $18 for 9-hole. A bit on the pricey side for this type of 9-hole course. It is a muni.
