Shoots in the 80s
.This is a very useful golf course. If you are in Eugene, want to play 18 holes, and cannot get on to the Eugene Country club then the modestly priced short and simple layout of River Ridge is there for you. The course is all in front of you. It offers very little in the way of surprises and also very few dramatics. The greens are slow but reasonably interesting in their contours. The rough does not offer much of a penalty. I don't remember hitting any bunkers but there is some water out there that causes one to be cautious. Unfortunately the course is not long enough to make it much penalty to play irons around the hazards. If you have the time there are better values within an hour’s drive. If you have the means there is a fantastic course very close by. If you have neither, tee it up at River Ridge. Customer Service Fair |
