Well manicured greens and a greenskeeper that knows what he is doing. Immaculate fairways and gorgeous ponds.

No driving range

This is one of the most underated courses in America. Elkhorn was ranked as one of the best nine hole courses for most of it's existence. Challenging pin placements and rough that will knock your socks off make this a challenging hole. Twilight rates of 30$ after 2pm make it worth the drive.

always green! no homes, no highways -- thus you and nature are all alone out there, incredible! the views, wow. mountains, streams, deer, you name it!

Great course, worth the drive. The front nine is spectacular, with holes 1 thru 4 knocking your socks off. #6 is a par 3 over a small canyon, while #11 is a par 3 with a carry over a lake, both great holes. Reasonable rates, friendly staff, would rec in a second!

The scenery, the upkeep of the course and the positioning a person must have to score well here. Plays tougher than the slope indicates

At times plays somewhat slow. Sometimes the fairways are a bit spongy in the morning rounds. NEEDS A DRIVING RANGE so
a person can properly warm up. Seems an eternity to the course from the 22 turn-off. Could use a few signs as you travel up the side road to let you know how much further.

Overall a very nice course. With some of the pin placements, the course can play very tough. Absolute beauty for scenery. They do a fantastic job of keeping the course watered. The greens were very green and tend to be a bit slower because they are not brown. Some good risk and reward holes.
