Shoots in the 80s

After going to Kentuck for the past 3 years we, and ALL of our friends who play golf in the area have stopped going to Kentuck. The treatment from the owners is terrible, the carts leave you stranded and the course itself is like playing on a huge, rutty field. Most people who aren't used to the course get lost because of poor layout and no signs. We have been stranded several times because our cart gave out. When trying to go up the hill on the final hole our cart died. Since it was on the hill, we had to push the 800+ lb cart up the rest of the way. When we told the Owner she shrugged and said "oh well". She said next time leave it. (on a steep hill blocking the path, yeah right) The next visit, the cart died on the 13th hole, so we left it. NO apologies, no refunds, no nothing.

Simple layout. Drainage has swales every 20 yds making cart travel an adventure. If they had the money, they could use some new/updated carts. Shot even par for the first time in my life with my wife riding with me for the first time! A good luck charm? Worth a visit, fun holes and easy to get on.

This course is a very good course for finetuning your game. It is not overly demanding and does not have much in the way of hazards although you will be confronted by water on several holes. Fairways are fairly wide and playable and the greens are in very good shape compared to a number of courses I have golfed this summer. You can play this course without feeling pushed by eager crowds playing behind you and so you have a relaxed attitude toward the game when you play. You may lose some balls if you don't keep it straight off the tee on some holes but it is a nice place to golf.

Customer Service

You can drive up to this course, pay your fee and begin golfing most of the time. I have never had to make a tee time and have never had to wait long to tee it up.

Really wish it had a driving range.
