1st time playing golf at Black Butte Ranch Big Meadow Golf Course. I was shocked at how beautiful the views were. The course was in amazing shape and the aptmosphere was so relaxing. Big Meadow is a course that will be on my rotation for years to come. I cant wait until the Glaze Meadow Golf Course opens in 2012. VERDICT: Black Butte Ranch is a MUST PLAY Customer Service Rate the service 10 out of 10. It is really laid back and the staff is super friendly. The Director of Golf was nice enough to give me a personal tour of the Glaze Meadow Golf Course project and it looks amazing! Similar Products Used: I have never played a golf course with such towering trees and views. If I were to visualize a course it would be like I would have to say it was like playing a course in Switzerland. |

For a Southerner, it took a while to get used to the fast and firm bent grass greens and fairways, but what a treat. The scenery is magnificent and the course is routed through spectacular stands of pine and aspen. You need to hit it straight and are rewarded when you do. You'll enjoy this course. Customer Service Helpful staff and well-equipped pro shop. Similar Products Used: The new clubhouse is terrific. The restaurant has top notch food and a patio with views that are unbelievable. |

Shoot in the 80s
Hit it straight. There are trees everywhere on this dense, narrow course, and they'll knock your ball around like a ping pong ball if you're not careful. The hills and slopes make shotmaking fun and creative, and several well-placed trees and water hazards do the same. The course was in fair condition when I played in the middle of summer. Customer Service The clubhouse staff was fine, but the marshalls were semi non-existent. Similar Products Used: The clubhouse is not great, but the range and practice green are great for your preround session. |
