Shoots in the 80s
It's an older golf course with an old time layout.Many of the holes looked the same.Most of the greens had the same look,two traps on either side to an elevated green.I wasn't impressed. supposidly it is going under. the best hole was the 18th for me ,a dog leg right around a body of water to a small green.The 9th hole was interesting,a short par three over water to a very small green.Hit the wedge well! Shoots in the 90s
This is a beautiful, mature course that is very challanging. Playing from the blue tees I often found myself 150 yards from the green, which is not a good situation for me. I only found the green in regulation 3 times all day. Nevertheless, it was a lot of fun to play and I recommend it to everyone. Customer Service Excellent |

As a golfer who likes to play different courses, I continue to make a yearly stop at Locust Valley. It is a great public facility that was once private. Tee-times are easy to make and the price is reasonable. The course itself is an 8 out of 10. Similar Products Used: None |
