Beautiful putting surfaces. Nice generous fairways that are well groomed. Lots of rolling hills and a few water holes that will make you sweat. Landscaping with flowers, rocks and evergreens at almost every hole on the back nine.

Mostly snackbar service with dogs, etc.

Real surprise. Part of Carroll Valley's two courses. Best groomed greens I've seen this year. Played during a drought but they got some rain the week I played and the course was surperb. Lots of elevation changes and with the blue ridge mountains bordering the course, the views are spectacular. The front nine is a links style course and the back nine is more of a mountain top course. Very nice contrast and a totally different type of play. The clubhouse/proshop was a Civil War Hospital and is historical landmark. A few miles from Gettysburg. Don't pass this course up if you are traveling on Rt 15.
