I've been playing at Macoby for almost 12 years now, since they opened the nine, and I have to say that I fell in love with the course from the time I played there. I have an Outing every fall, and wouldn't think of going anywhere else, and the Hersh Family is wonderful to deal with. The course management continues to make great improvement every season, and has turned this course into what i consider to be the BEST Golf Value in the Delaware valley. My charity "Team TAMARA", will be adding a ProAm event in 04, and I've already told the owners that they will be hosting us :)

They also have a great restaurant there, with terrific views of the 1st, 9th, and 18th holes. Try it you'll REALLY like it !!!

A poor rating on this course will only come from one used to playing expensive private courses. This is a great course, especially the front nine, with some good views in addition to the fun golf. The big drops on #4 and #15 left us scratching our heads on what club to pull out of the bag and the steap hill approaching the green on #3 left me with a 112 yard shot I was unable to reach with a 7 iron. My companion, a former greens keeper at Olde Homestead, and I fell in love with this course by the end of the 4th hole. It's a little light on sandtraps but clever design and tree placement provides plenty of trouble for the unwise golfer. For anyone who likes a course that plays in the 'Z' axis this is a must-play! At $24 with a cart it's absolutely the best deal I've found this season (2002).

Customer Service

Great. Clubhouse staff and owner were very pleasant.

Driving range uses mats (not a favorite of mine) rather than natural grass.

This course is not meant just for scratch shooters nor your beginers. Its the perfect place to go for fun. It has a challengeing front nine but you can make up for it on the back. Some long holes and tight fairways make this course very enjoyable to play with friends.

Customer Service

Excellent

This course means well but it''s a bit new and not very memorable. Some holes start out with some character but there is a distinct lack of character when you reach the greens. The lack of greenside bunkers lead to a sameness throughout the round.

Customer Service

Very good.

Shoot in the 70s

This course tests the good players and average players in many ways. A word of advice is to capitalize on the links style back nine which is very open compared to the very tight and hilly and much much more difficult front nine. Even if you play bad here it is okay because the view from the front nine is remarkable. Tha hardest hole is a 600 yd par 5 that from tee you must drive at leat 250 to go over the lake in 2, to get over the lake and have a good lie, a 240 yd shot should be needed. The work is not over, The green is a two tier that looks like a 3 yard uphill step, and you cannot go over because it goes strait uphill leaving a near impossible shot. After this hole comes a 120 yd par 3 strait downhill with a tough green, very hard to judge right distance. Conditions are great, not tour quality but great for the money. Pretty cheap to, weekdays its 17 to walk and 12 $ cart fee and on the weekend its 36 with cart. overall great course.

Customer Service

Tee times are phone ahead and they dont treat you like kings, but maybe the kings friends.
