I would advise against playing this course. It is very expensive for the quality of the course. They charge as much as or more than other courses in the Harrisburg area that are much nicer. The course itself is fairly pretty but is poorly maintained. The holes are very close together so that you are constantly having to deal with stray balls or people yelling to one another when you are trying to hit. For some strange reason, this course tends to attract quite a few players that are not up to speed on golf etiquette. If you play on a weekend, you should also be prepared to have at least a five minute wait at every tee box, which makes is hard to get into a rythm. Additionally, if you are unfortunate enough to have a lie that is not on the fairway you are out of luck as it seems like the only grass is on the fairway. The rough is comprised mostly of very hard ground (no matter what time of year or how recently it has rained) with sporadic blades of grass and some weeds. It is hard to shoot a good score here because the course is usually in such poor shape. It is almost impossible to make a make-up shot if your drive goes astray. Also, with the exception of the older gentlemen that works the driving range, I have found most of the staff to be unfriendly.
