One of the best kept secrets around. A scenic, beautiful golf course with alot of elevation changes. 27 holes is a plus. The Hill 9 is quite difficult. Miss the greens and good luck finding your ball. The newer 18 holes are fabulous. Plenty of variety and nice views all about. Greens are FAST. Don't get above the hole anywhere. Some greens are so severely sloped that it's hard just to keep your ball on the green. No trickery here-everything is right in front of you. Only one severe dogleg on entire course. Most holes are either straight or just a nudge to the left or right with plenty of traps and trees to help you visualize the correct shot shape. Typical Ross design. One or two very short par 4's that are driveable. Two short par 5's and two long par 5's. Two par 3's are down hill. One is severely uphill to a severely undulated green and the other par 3 is over a scenic pond and plays around 165 yards. Decent driving range. Great putting green and the food is fantastic in my opinion. Everyone is nice. Greens are perfect and lightning fast when they want them to be. Fairways are tight and green! Rough can get high at times but you can advance the ball. Bunkers have alot of sand in them, too much in my opinion. The meandering creek comes into play on about 6 holes.
