Kimberton is well kept for as much play as it receives. It is challenging enough to still have fun. Play is fairly quick both on the weekdays and weekends. Prices are good and the twilight prices cannot be beaten.

Customer Service

The customer service is excellent. They are friendly and knowledgeable, and the snack bar’s Kimberdogs hit the spot after a fun round of golf.

I actually have to agree with deadlyputter and your personal attack invalidates any point you may have had. I think your frame of reference and his may be different if you are bringing Valley Forge into the argument... which can't even really be considered a golf course. Play Honeybrook, Hickory Valley, Bella Vista, Turtle Creek, etc.. before Kimberton. All better courses in better shape in the area, but aimed at a different type of golfer than Kimberton. Kimberton is a blue collar course that has some great holes and is in OK shape. Every level of golfer can play here and feel comfortable. Tends to be slow (I have seen the 1st tee with 5+ groups all waiting to tee off), but the staff is great.

"deadlyputter" isn't very bright (see his review below. Kimberton isn't a championship course, but it has many challenging holes (abouot 5-6) and the rest are average. None are below average, and neither is the course conditioning. They keep great care of it considering how much it gets played. There are several other courses in the area that are much worse, like Valley Forge. I enjoy playing there 2-3 times a week. It is a great course for working on your game. A few holes where you can really work on course management.

This course defines the term dogtrack. It is an average layout that gets WAY too much play and is dirt cheap. It is kept in avg. to below avg. shape and there is simply nothing remarkable about any hole on this course. I live down the street and play there often and can't imagine how people can give it a 4. Not quite sure what their fram of reference is. You get what you pay for at this course.

Great course for the money, I play here as often as I can. It is challenging enough for skilled players, yet wont discourage higher handicap players.

Customer Service

Customer service was great. Friendly, courteous, and helpfull staff. They have a PGA head professional and two assistant professionals who are both qualified teachers.

Shoot in the 80s

It is a good little course i play alot. It is a good price for 18 holes and has some hard areas. The par 5's are easy if you can hit the ball far. Greens are the hard spot to put on, very hard to hold greens.

This is one of my favorite courses in the area. Very well kept, consistent greens, helpful staff, and reasonably priced.

Not bad at all. $13 to walk after 3:00. The tee boxes were well kept. The fairways were nice and soft. The greens are small and a little fast, but played basically the same throughout. The sand traps were just about perfect.
