Wow, I played the elite course in the area and of course it was nice. Then I played Conestoga, and knowing roughly what the budget of the operation was I was stunned. This course was magnificant. The greens were true and incredibly fast. The fairways were sharp, I am usually not a big fan of rye grass but these fairways were thick and tight, brightest stripes i've seen in my life. Kudos' to the greenskeeper, he needs to come to my club. One downside of this beautiful course is the rough, it's great in some areas but quite spotty in others, for whatever reason this track has not installed a tripple or even double row irrigation system. When they catch up with the eighties it will be one hell of a track. Must be an Amish thing, regardless, this desert golfer was impressed and had a blast with some old pals.
