Shoots in the 80s

From the tips it was like 6350 or something.Relatively nice layout nothing spectacular but the first par five was great ob left water to right if u killed it then hit over stream again on secound or third with water protecting left side of green. Greens and fairways where in great shape realy enjoyed the greens although they were a little hard and not as receptive to aproach shots as I would've liked. Putting was a true pleasure however very consistent but not the easyest to read.Bunkers were in good shape but the sand sucked it was very grainy and soggy all day just from the dew. One par four was pretty un fair. Only 307 down hill water left with fairway tillting that way as well Large trees on right blocking direct shot too green that was slightly elevated with a rock wall garding the front of it as well as a stream running in front and over to pond on left . Small bail out area left of green could probably hit with drive but still be in ruff and can't c much of anything of the tee. All in all decent to good course thyta ran only 34 w/cart on a holiday not bad.

Shoots in the 100s

I've played Groff's Farm many times since it was built in the mid 90's, and I always enjoy playing this course. There is nothing particularly noteworthy about it, but it's a solid golf course.

Shoot in the 80s

Groff's is an average length course with enough trouble for those who tend to hit errant shots. The greens generally do not hold very well, but have been better this year, probably because of the wet spring we've been having. The rough is difficult during good growing spells. It is very important to be playing from the fairway on this links style course. There are seven man-made lakes, only six of which will hold water. They are strategically placed and catch a lot of balls. The water in the lakes is usually pretty nasty, which really downgrades the aesthetic value of the course. Fairways and tees are usually fairly well kept. The fairways this season are excellent, soft and plush due to very little stress because of the weather. The greens are hard to read and generally don't break as much as you think.

Customer Service

You can usually get a tee time is off-peak times without much difficulty.
