Wow! What an excellent golf course! This is one of the finest public courses I've ever played in NEPA, and is an absolute must play. Very well cared for, with some of the most scenic vistas anywhere. This course can be as difficult as any from the blue tees, but the wide open layout makes it forgiving and hard to lose balls. The 15th is a MUST PLAY 266yrd PAR 3, and all over water! Whew. What a great day, thanks to Sugarloaf Golf Club.

Customer Service

Excellent friendly staff. The bar tender was a hoot, and the service all around was top notch.

Greens wer near perfect with almost no scuffed areas. Fairways were rolling, angled, well groomed and challenging. Most of the tee areas were Kodak moments with the valleys and mountain splendor.

Not much customer service or direction signs to the club house. Parking lot is a good uphill hike to the proshop.

Sugarloaf is an old course. It has some great holes and incredible vistas. It is built on a mountain and uses the fact to its advantage. As with most of the PA courses, the maintenance is top notch. The prices are low and the golfers are friendly.

Customer Service

Per above comments, they need a cart to pick you up. Seem like a mostly locals course and they do not seem to do much to encourage new golfers. They are friendly in the bar and food area.
