It's worth every penny, but that isn't saying much as this 9 hole course is very cheap to play. Best to get out after a rainy stretch or at the start of the season as the grounds dry up quickly. They are doing renovations from time to time to spruce things up, but this will never be and shouldn't intend to be a premier course. It is, however, a dun round that gives hackers like me a chance to get our money's worth cheaply.

Customer Service

Great people in the clubhouse.

This used to be one of the best deals in the state for a hacker. $6 during the week for 9 holes. I believe it's around $12-15 now. The course is what you would expect for the money. It has no in-ground irrigation, so don't expect many good lies out there. The bunkers and tees have improved but still don't compare to those on nicer courses. This is the perfect course for a beginner/hacker.

State workers...need I say more?

there is a firece super senior league that plays here Mon-Thurs. Forget about getting on before 830am. The shop doesn't open until 730am! A lot a people want to get a quick 9 in before work, I even offered to tell the proprietor than "how about I pay on the way out after you're open if I can get out there before 6am, you won't even know I'm there..........."Nope!" was the answer. Being a NYer who vacations nearby, I'm inclined to go over to East Greenwich, I can get on and off sooner. Goddard is cheap at $12 and very walkable (E. Greenwich is longer, or at least feels it with the holes up and down, etc.) But then again, this is a state park and life is slower in RI and especially when you involve state employees......from any state, let alone tiny, but beautiful RI!

The course is terrible. It used to be a great course where everybody played and loved. People would line up and sit for hours just to have a fun round of golf. Seniors could practically play for free there. All of a sudden they think they can get fancy and decide to up the green fees to 14 dollars, well now it is just a sucky golf course or garbage park.

Customer Service

The only thing good abotu the place is the customer service people. The guy workin behind the counter is the man, and the the guy that makes the hamburgers and the starter are pretty great too.

a great beginners course play there is generally slow however it is never busy anymore since they raised the greens fees to fourteen dollars for nine holes toughest hole is a dog leg left which you have to lay-up for other than that everything is pretty straight out. greens are a good size and some fairways run side by side putting is interesting but pretty true more challenging than it looks

Customer Service

ok
