Shoots in the 100s

I play Shadowmoss about once a month. This course is a step up from the area municipal course but is a bit too expensive for what it offers. Having said that, it is not such a bad deal if you don't mind playing during off peak times. The fairways are mostly long and straight (though certainly not always) and in good condition. A lot of people complain about the geese, which congregate on the fairways at holes 10 and 18 - but I've never minded them. Overall, shadowmoss is a fun course to play that is slightly overpriced but still a much better value than Charleston National, which I find similar in feel (albeit a much nicer course).

Course was pretty good. 3 and 1/2 star rating by Golf Digest is about right. The layout is very good.

This course is way over priced. Not in very good condition anywhere!! Staff was friendly, food was good, beer was cold. Course was worth half the price they charge. I would steer clear of this course and look for others in the area that are much better.
