Shoots in the 80s

Played all four courses and they are all very good. Playing them all in a row, they tended to blend together, as they all are similar in style. Would love to play them again.

Customer Service

Very good. Not one of these get every penny out of your pocket, Dan Snyder type places.

I stayed ther for 5 days and played 3 of the 4 courses. In order I played the Falcon, Wood Stork and Hummingbird. The Wood Stork was the most enjoyable, the Hummingbird the most difficult. Pretty much as advertised. I wanted to play more golf but my wife wanted to check out the area and spend some time at the beach so what can aguy do.

I played Hummingbird, and the course was ok. The experience I would have to say was the worst golfing experience I have ever had. First of all, the Wild Wing resort is a GOLF FACTORY. There are way too many courses there and too many people. Our day started out with a frost delay and a lot of anxious and disgruntled golfers. The staff wasn't too friendly either. Finally, after the frost, they start everybody with a shotgun start. That SUCKED, but after one hole we caught up with the greens mowers... not the gang mower type, but the single reel walk-behind type. We waited, and waited, and waited before we could play into the green. Then we went to the next hole... the same thing. That continued for 4 holes of excruciating waiting. Then after one more hole we caught up to the group in front of us. We were playing as a twosome and had to wait a lot, but then the marshall came by and told us to join up with the group in front to make a fivesome... BIG F#%$@in mistake. We all were miserable and pissed off. The course itself wasn't that interesting really. It was mostly very flat. The greens were flat as a pancake, but still difficult to read. The conditioning was good but that could never have made up for it. I will NEVER, EVER, go back to Wild Wing.

Stayed there on a 4 days golf package. Accomodations and staff were great
Loved Avocet and Falcon.
Hummingbird was nice, but I didn't like the fact that every hole was a blind tee shot to a aiming stick, and with yardages that forced me to always lay up. This was more frustrating than fun

I’ve had the privilege to play two of Wild Wing’s courses and enjoyed both rounds. The courses are meticulously kept. At over $100 a round, they should be. Wild Wing, while nice, is extremely overpriced. Other tan a HUGE sand trap covering the length of two adjacent fairways, it without any features of note. GPS positioning in carts coupled with computer printouts of pin positions on greens proved to be a hindrance. After the first few holes, I ignored them. My scoring improved immediately. As is typical of most resort courses, walking is not allowed. It is still beyond me why this is accepted when USGA recommendations and PGA rules are otherwise.

Customer Service

Youth at the curb were very helpful and deserving of every penny you tip them. Pro shop help needs some attention.

Overall I found this course to be open and easy playing, I was plus 2 through 6 holes, when rain started, after getting destroyed in the morning at TPC. Oh yea, the GPS systems kick butt! The course was in very good condition. the challenges on this course sneak up on you. Number 6 has a 3?/multi tiered green which is a gigantic penalty if you don't put the ball on the tier with the flag. Fairways are bit tight, but the rough and woods are not a tremendous penalty. I really enjoyed the 6 holes I plyed here. I will definatly play here again.

Customer Service

We weren't offered rain checks when we came back when the horn sounded. I emailed them and got a rapid response and a full raincheck. The person with whom I spoke seemed very keen to find out who failed to offer us a raincheck and he went out of his way to make it right. Top shelf management.
