Despite the short overall length of the course, the fairways and greens are well protected. Doglegs through pine tree lined fairways and well placed bunkers force a shot makers round. Once on the green, I found them quite quick with a fair amount of undulation.

As for the North, if you hit the long ball you might as well leave the driver in the car. From the back tees the total yardage is only about 6500(North) and with the tightness of the fairways and the numerous doglegs, 3 woods and irons will suffice. As for the South I would bring the driver due to it being much wider and open. The length is 6891 from the back tees.

Both courses are Fazio designed; the South by George and the North by Tom. From what I understand the North course was added after the South course when Tom Fazio was still making a name and then working for his uncle George. I have played other Tom Fazio designed courses and the North course is as testing an 18 holes as any I have played.
