Site of Heritage PGA tournament so you know it's a great layout. One of my favorite courses, many interesting holes. Great scenery especially those last three holes. Not too tough from the whites, either.

Customer Service

Okay - a little too country club-ish for my taste.

Model Reviewed: Harbour Town Golf Links

This course was absolutely amazing. Played in mid-May before 8 AM. Greens were fast (pro shop said it was rolling at a 10, which was "slow" for them) but rolled so pure and true. Out of 18 holes, the ball only took two hops during a putt. It came on the 18th, and for all I know it was a ball mark that caused it or a little bit of sand. Either way, the greens were amazing.

The course isn't very long, only 6900+ from the Heritage tees. However, accuracy from the tee is very very important. Lots of pinestraw, lots of trees to play with, pretty fair amount of water.

Fairways and greens were amazingly green. Perfect course!

Customer Service

Great pro staff, great service. Practice range balls were very lacking though. You received a small red bag, maybe 20-30 balls total. That was disappointing, but I took another bag when they weren't looking and that helped.

Course is expensive to play. 275 a month after the tournament came through.

My favorite course: not that I have played Pebble, but I have played many top courses and this one is special. A beautiful walk in a park, with some very challenging golf shots thrown in. Lowcountry at its finest - overhanging branches, spanish moss, nothing unfair but you have to factor in these subtle obstacles or you won't score. Superb service, as should be expected for a very high price, but by booking as a package, and not during peak seasons, you can get a reasonable price ($125-$150, versus $225 standard). Fabulous practice facilities. Sister course Ocean is also great.

Sea Pines Ocean course - another great layout, but definitely not in the same league as Harbourtown. Sea Pines Marsh course is only OK.

This is by far the best course I have ever played. I got the chance to play it twice last year and it was just as great both times. Perfect condition and a great layout make this my favorite course in hilton head. A must play.

The course was in absolutely perfect condition, there were 0 imperfections on the greens, and the fairways were full and green. The course was in the finest condition of any course I've ever played. The staff is incredibly courteous and willing to help out with anything you ask for. Easily the best golfing experience of my life.

Customer Service

Tee times were very easy to make, and I felt very welcome.

GREAT COURSE!!! This was one of the nicest courses I have ever played. The price is a little steep, but the course was incredible. A must play for anyone in the Hilton Head Area.
