Avoid this course. There are far better options in the area than the Robert Trent Jones at Palmetto Dunes. None of the groundskeepers would even idle their engines or stop their mowing and blowing -- whether we were on the tee or on the green. Extremely unpleasant experience for a solid eight holes, and calling in to the pro shop produced zero results. It seems to be all about volume here (noise and number of players they can get through the course), and certainly not about customer service. There are far better options on and off Hilton Head Island.

Excellent greens, very true. Overseeded fairways in winter were very good. One of the best maintained courses on the island

Robert Trent Jones course (1 of 5 courses in the resort). Best course we played while in HH @ Christmas/03. Rebuilt greens, fairways within the past couple of years. Scenic views of the ocean on the back nine. Recommend play for all visitng the area.

An outstanding course! The course was in very good condition and the greens were slower than expected but true.
Each hole is a scenic wonder as well as difficult but fair.
