Shoots in the 80s

Lexington C.C. has really been through a lot in the past years. It has lost some members accustomed to the "way it used to be" out there, and gained some members looking for a new, modern experience. With the addition of a new club house, pool, tennis courts, and proshop, Lexington is an overall decent place to play. Through this winter, though, the fairways have turned to little more than a bunch of hard dirt with a little bit of grass. It's almost better to play the ball from the rough. The greens have been kept up though and are usually in decent shape. When it rains, the fairways turn to a big mud hole because of an inferior drainage system. During the summer though the playing experience takes a 180 degree turn. The fairways grow lush grass, and the greens are great. If you're looking for a good golfing experience I would recommend Lexington, but only during a period of little rain, and in the warmer months.

New tennis courts and pool. I don't play tennis but seems like a nice new facility.
