Abysmal. We played three days in a row, each over 6 hours. The marshall's laughed when we asked if there was any way to speed things up...they say management over-stuffs the courses any time they can. Thats just rude...In a place with so many wonderful options, avoid this place. |

The layout of this course is a good one.
Customer Service The staff wouldn't budge on the replay fees. Our three foursomes (all of whom had already paid a surcharge as part of the package) wanted to replay the course in the afternoon as part of our annual scramble. $74 bucks..I don't think so..

Organized a trip for a group of 8 through the Legends Golf Group. Could not be happier. Stay on site and played all Legends courses, Heritage Plantaion (South MB), Oyster Bay (North MB), and the onsite courses Heathland, Moorland and Parkland. Every course was fantastic. We had golfers that ranged from 7 handicaps to couldn't get off the tee. The courses played well to everyone. On site, Moorland seemed to be the most difficult due to it's elevated greens. It was in fantastic shape. Parkland required more precise shot making and was also in fantastic shape. Heathland was the easiest of the 3 onsite, but the wind blew 20 knots and made for a great challenge. As with the others in fantastic shape. Heritage, a bit of a ride south is a old favorite standby. Cut through the trees it is a great track and a worthy challenge. Some may not like the closeness of the houses. Oyster Bay, a bit of a ride north, is worth the trip. We played 36 since we were in for a ride. The group still can not stop raving about Oyster Bay. The course was in fantastic shape, the vistas were great, and the wild life was a treat. Don't miss this one on your next trip. If the wind blows bring plenty of balls. Customer Service The Legends service was second to none from setting the reservation to on site hospitality. Restaurant staff remembered each and every one of us, were there with a drink or a verbal crack with perfect timing. In the future this will be our destination of choice. The accomadations were great also. |

Legend''s "Heathland", a Tom Doak beauty in the Scottish tradition "molded in the image of St. Andrews, Lahinch and Cruden Bay". Extremely well manicured with nice greens...Moorland, a P.B. Dye course similar to PGA West. That means very target golf. Undulating fairways with a lot of big bunkers. The par 4 16th is the famous "Hell''s Half Acre". Very good track. Legends "Parkland", an Alister Mackenzie and George Thomas gem (MacKenzie designed Augusta National, Riviera, Royal Melbourne and Cypress Point to name a few). This course is magnificent to look at, perfect condition and fun to play. A 4.5 Golf Digest Rating and my favorite. Customer Service Legends does it right. |
