Not exceptionally long or stimulating, but I've played courses in worse shape. Very straight forward layout. Sand in pretty good shape, but interesting grade. Greens held nicely, fairways were just being mowed (mown?) after a lot of wet days. Note to staff... please remove the kids' sand pails from the tee boxes. Just plain goofy.

Staff very nice, Walter Bryant, head pro, especially.

Pro Shop isn't as stocked as one might would like. Could use a wider variety of apparel and balls.

For a municipal course, it ain't bad. I've played >50 rounds there in past 10 years. Considering the traffic it takes, it's in pretty good shape. Greens are pretty good. Couple of short par 4's, couple of long par 5's. Pro Shop isn't all that well-stocked, but folks are nice and helpful. Water coolers on front and back. If you play a lot of golf and don't have a lot of $, this is a good place for you.
