Shoots in the 80s

I can't believe this place is being called a golf course. The worst place (not a course once again!) ever played. Please disregard previous reviewers (they must be somewhat connected to the owner of this place if you can read between the lines). Most area of this place is covered with red clay, muds, and litters instead of greenish grass what you expect to see from any other golf courses. Layout is boring, tee-boxes are horrible (you'll need a magnifying glass to find a spot to tee-up your ball), and greens are bumpy and as slow as you can imagine.
DO NOT BOTHER PLAYING THIS PLACE.
YOU'LL BE INSULTED BY THIS PLACE.

Shoot in the 80s

I live near Woodhaven and find it to be an excellent course to practice my irons and short game. This is a par 3 course which also has 2 par 4's, one at 240 yds. and one at 215 yds. The other holes average from 140-165 yds. I normally shoot in the low-mid 80's on a regulation course and find that practicing here helps me on other courses. The course is normally in decent shape overall but with the bermuda greens, you have to get used to a bumpy ride. The course is sometimes flooded by "older" golfers and "first-timers" which can slow play, but at the same time, I like the idea that their is a course available for golfers who can't get around on the big courses and it is a good course to learn the game on. If you get a chance, you should definitely come out and give it a try. I know I will continue to go as often as possible, as it has improved my game.

The golf shop is well equipped with up to date equipment. Although I haven't taken a golf lesson from the owner/pro, he has a reputation of being one of the best around.

This is a great little executive length course open year around. The greens are small and they force you to read them accurately. Some can be tricky. There are two par fours, numbers 2 and 5, but the average player should find them fairly easy.

The owners Clint and Lorri Wright are very helpful and friendly. The addition of Jason to their staff recently has resulted in a better looking course and and even better atmosphere. I plan on taking some lessons from Clint who is a teacher that is apparently highly regarded. He can give a single 1 hour lesson to fix a specific problem for $50. He also has programs of four 30-minute for $100 and 3 hours for $150. I'm such a bad player that I will probably need 12 hours. :-)

Small but nice pro shop with a pretty good selection of clubs. They rent clubs there and also repair and regrip.
No snack bar but they have a good assortment of cold drinks.

Customer Service

There are no tee times of course but the staff is excellent and this is a very friendly place.
