Big Teeee
Shoots in the 80s

Legend Oaks is a good value. It's a fairly well kept and heavily played course except for some worn tee boxes and leaves on very difficult to read, unlevel-wavy greens. Beware of the number 10 hole. Number 10, a par four requiring a short wood or iron drive and a second shot to the green. Blocking any good and well-struck second shot to the green is a left-side planted, right-side leaning big old oak tree with long moss-covered limbs just ready to stop your good shot and knock your ball into a cavernous, sometimes- swampy, 10 feet deep, 20 yards wide and 60 yards long ditch and waste area that runs in front and along the entire right side of the green. Unless you can hit a second shot to duck hook onto the green or a sky- high straight up rocket be ready for a 7 to 9 to screw up your good round because of the terrible, unfair, tree limb-blocking of the green. You can not go under the limb on the second shot because of the waste area and hanging moss. The cavernous waste area needs to be filled or the overhanging blocking oak limbs cut down. Golf trick shots should not be needed from the middle fairway to save an otherwise good round. The other holes are fair with lots of parallel water. The course is a bit above 3 star average but I do not love it.

Customer Service

Customer service is good with occasional beer carts going by and friendly food service inside.

Big T
Shoots in the 90s

Legend Oaks is a nice course for consistently very long drivers. All others prepare for high scores as trees block otherwise good 2nd shots to the green. Take number 10 for instance, a par 4 with a gigantic oak tree with big limbs covering the front of the green and blocking a good straight second shot that may not be 2 miles high to get over it. Hit a limb and your good shot will likely bounce down into a 20 foot deep 40 -60 foot wide valley. Another dog leg right par 4 on the back has a big tree in front of the green blocking your good second shot from the fairway if you can get it over 220 yards of water with your drive. These unfair holes will ruin an otherwise great golfing day. These big fairway trees and limbs need to be cut.

Customer Service

Shoot in the 80s

This is a fun, player friendly course. I play there frequently and thoroughly enjoy this course. A few of the greens are in repair. the greens are nice sized putt true and are FAST. The tee boxes are well maintained and are positioned to callenge you on several holes. The fairways are usually in good shape and divot repair is better than average. It is in the lower mid-price range and a good value course for the money.
