Shoots in the 90s

I am not a avid golfer and I was still able to enjoy the layout. It is a very challenging course with excellent conditions. I would highly recommend this course it is well worth what ever you have to pay. I have played here many times over the past few years and the course countiues to get better.

Customer Service

All of the staff is friendly and they have the best looking cart girls of any course I have ever been on.

Shoot in the 70s

Played this course when it was fairly new. Kind of pricey for the shape it was in. Fairways were not in good shape but the greens were. There was not a flat straight fairway on the whole course. You either teed off downhill or uphill. Lots of blind tee shots. Woods lined most of the fairways, but the fairways were very wide. Most of the tee shots were blind. I f you have not played this course before you will lose a few balls. The layout is very challenging if you are trying to beat the course or shoot well, if you are out to just beat balls or have a good time on a golf course, pick another, this one will make for a long day. It requires accurate well placed tee shots and lay up shots. The fairways were so hard it made that very difficult. I usually shoot 73-78 at my home course and I shot 90 on this one.

Customer Service

Customer service was good, tee times were easy to get. They have a very informative website.

Nice facilities. Lots of the local players like to think it is their country club, so you have to deal with some attitudes from other players occasionally.

Shoot in the 70s

Under new ownership the course is in great shape. Altho still a "mountain course", Jim Sheets, the owner, has improved the layout with a great maintainance crew. Still a challange reqiuring accurate placement of the ball. # 15 is one of the hardest par 4's in the area reauiring a long iron shot over a gulley from a downhill lie to an elevated hill side green that takes everything to the wrong side of the hill/

Customer Service

Great staff that are very helpful. Earky times are sometimes hard to get and there are sometournaments on the weekends. Call ahead. Great carts.
