This is the course I learned on, in the early 70s when it was well kept and 18 holes. The course is now a SuperWalmart.

Only $7.00 per round and almost worth every penny. Location is also a plus as it is very close to downtown and cars come flying by on I-75 just 10 -15 yards from the 7 & 8 holes. This course is so short and flat that anyone could walk it. (They do not offer golf carts.) The grass in the fairways could be very nice if maintained just a little bit.

The condition of the course. But you can't expect much for the price. The layout is pretty boring, even for a par three. Every hole is straight-away with no water, sand or obstacles on any hole. The only challenge is trying to find out where the next tee box is. The signs for each hole look as if they were put in place in 1964 when the course was desgined as each sign is made out of wood and hidden behind some thick foliage on each hole. Several signs are completely unreadable. Each sign is hung on a tree near the tee box.

Built in 1964 this course shows it's age in different ways on each hole. This is a par 3, 9 hole course. The layout would normally make for a very simple par or birdie on each hole but this course is not maintained well. The owner mows the course every day but everything is mowed about 1/2 to 1 inch too long. The greens are mowed the length of most normal tee boxes and, while thick and lush bermuda, the fairways are deeper than most roughs I've seen. It's a good course if you are a golfer just getting started and havn't played but once or twice. But for anyone who has played more than a dozen times, this course could reek havoc on your game. Putting here is only difficult due to the length of the grass on the greens.

Owned by an older man and his wife. The wife works the cash register and the older man is the greens keeper. Friendly.

The golf range is overpriced for this course. A small bucket of balls is $4.00 which is far too much for this area considering the condition of the range and facilities.
