A very scenic course, The Quarry sits at the base of Signal Mountain. Currently this is a 9-hole course, but was, several years ago, designed to be an 18 hole course. Nine of the orignal 18 (a few from the front and a few from the back) were sold to a developer to build a sub-division. Consequently, some of the holes still bear their original hole numbers as the signs for each hole are engraved on a large slab of granite next to each tee box. This course is well maintained and a real pleasure to play. Water comes into play on most holes and the overall design challenges any level of player. The inexperienced player could easily lose 5-10 balls on this course. There is nothing simple or boring about this course. I have never been able to birdie or even par the second hole ( a dogleg left, with an elevated green that requires the second shot (a blind shot) over a creek and up the hill through a narrow opening of trees). One of Chattanooga's best kept secrets. I have never had a problem getting on this course and the speed of play has never been a problem either.

Customer Service

The staff is very friendly and is always more than accomodating.

The golf shop is pretty sparce, but they have the necessities i.e. balls, gloves and for some reason, quite a few hats! They have little in the way of snacks or food, so b.y.o.b. They have two drink machines and a cooler.
