Shoots in the 90s

I have played better courses in the Serville, Pigeon Forge, Gatlenburg area. Pace of play is slow, I have never have slow play as bad as I did there. There was a lot of construction on around the course and it had an unfinished look. I thought the municipal course in Gatlenburg did a better job of managing its tee times and was a better value. Snack shop at half way was nice but since the 9s do not meet at the clubhouse it is nessary. Take a tip use the central tee time booking for any of the course in this area.
That way the price does not hurt as bad.

Shoots in the 70s

Nice course. Tough the first time you play. A lot of carry shots. Nice selection of tees to match a players ability. During 2006 a lot of construction around the course makes the cart ride interesting.

Not at all walking friendly. Long rides between green and next tee.

In county residents get a break on the fee. Other wise it is about $45-50 on weekends with cart.

Shoots in the 100s

Beautiful scenic views - links style course. Not an easy course for tourist area. Comparing it to Gatlinburg Municipal next to Dollywood, I thought this one would be easier. Its not. It looks flat with wide open fairways but it has some tricky holes and the rough is thick. Hit one out of the fairway and you wont find it or cant hit it out. It has some nice par 3's. I will tell you the greens on this course are small so good luck on sticking them in. If you go in the morning and they are wet, you will have a better chance. The guys I was playing with shoot in the 80's and they were always saying "man, these greens are small, i cant stop it".What you see from the road approaching it looks the whole course is wide open because no trees are around. But when you get into the round you will have lots of hills and cross many creeks and streams. I have played Gatlinburg Municipal 2 times before this one. Next time I visit Gatlinburg, I will play the Gatlinburg Municipal or only play 9 holes at this eagles landing. For a beginner, eagles landing is just too long. It can make for a tiring evening. And we all know that the wives get ill when they want to stay out all evening in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and you are complaining of being tired.

Customer Service

Friendly pro shop service at check in. Disapointed to see club house closed at 6:30 when we finished. That seems early for a saturday. So you couldnt go to restroom or buy drinks.

Shoot in the 70s

Long, challenging golf course. Well maintained. Long cart drives from green to tee. Some narrow fairways. Wind blows through the valley all the time. Not for hackers because some holes require 200 yards carry over hazards just to reach the beginning of the fairway.
