Built on top of a mountain so expect some severe elevation changes. Some holes are interesting while others are goony golf. Heaven help your female companion if she needs to pee while out on the course. No potties and the woods are full of snakes. Just have to hold it in til she gets back to the clubhouse.

THE BASIC DESIGN OF THE COURSE IS OK, BUT THE FAIRWAYS ARE MOSTLY CRABGRASS. THE GREENS ARE DESTROYED SO THEY ARE COVERED IN SAND. THE COURSE WASN'T IMPRESSIVE.

Very interesting, very challenging, but fair. It's built on the edge/top of a mountain, so the views are extraordinary. It's quasi-remote, so tee times are rarely needed and it never gets crowded. The price is excellent.

Let me think about that..... Well, it's tight so you're scores may be a little higher than your average spacious muni. I don't think this is a negative, but some may. It isn't very condusive to walking, due to its changes in elevation, and fairways do not run paralell.

What to say about this course? It is what you would expect of a mountain course. Uneven lies, blind shots, sloping greens, the full enchilada. It is pretty tight throughout with only 9 and 10 running paralell. You either hit it where you look, or you are OB, period. With that said, it is a pleasure to play. Almost all holes are very interesting. From the 115 yard par 3, straight down about 60 to the 130 yard par 3 straight up about 60 feet to the hard dogleg left par 5 hitting into a "bowl" of giant boulders that surround the green to the hard dogleg right par 5 hitting out of rock faces and boulders. Most holes have water in play on on eor both sides, most of these with water to carry. This is a shot-maker's course, but fair. The staff keeps the course in good shape, and are pleasant. Although fee information becomes dated, you should imagine all of this at $26 with a cart (you do NOT want to walk this one).
