Shoots in the 100s

The Tennessean is a beautiful course. The course is very challenging. They are in the process of building a new club house and plan to have a pool. They reopened in Feb. with new owners. After being closed for a year the staff is working hard to make the course better than ever and establish a family atmosphere. They also have a very informative webpage.

Customer Service

The staff was very friendly.

Shoots in the 100s

Not a big fan of this course. The course is not marked well and has several blind shots, so unless you have played it a few times you won't know where you need to place your shots. Nice practice area. Fairways are extremely thin during the spring.

Shoots in the 80s

Great course. Long but fair when looking at landing areas for driving the ball. Price was very good and I will make plans to go back!

Shoot in the 80s

The course was in good condition overall considering it was open only a few months. Very slick greens and all are severely sloped. Good range and putting green. Designed to test the better player. I failed this test miserably. The fairways are undulating and trouble lurks everywhere. Probably the most penal course I have played in Tennessee without a lot of water. Very scenic with no houses around yet. You need to play this course at least once or twice before you can expect to shoot anywhere close to your avg. score. Bring an extra sleeve or two.

Customer Service

Staff not overly friendly. Green fees a little pricey.

Shoot in the 80s

Beautiful new course to be sure, and well laid out. Greens have been good although they reworked some of the 3 tier greens because it was just too sloped. Nice tees and the layout is superb by standards within 50 miles. Locals fear for this course as it has not been played alot as it is pricey. Green fees are higher than other courses in proximity. Excellent driving range although it is closed as often as its open. Its worth playing as its nice, but bring your wallet.
