Puts a premium on accuracy over distance. Narrow fairways and small greens. Only 5 holes on the course that truely require you to use a driver off the tee. But there is trouble lurking all around with trees, sand and water hazards.

The course gets a lot of play from daily fee users. All the natives use carts and rarely observe the 90 degree rule. As a result, the fairways get a beating.

One of the best municiple courses I''ve ever played. A hidden gem in W.TX. A par-70 course (only 2 par-5''s) for men, par-72 for women. But the ladies don''t get much advantage on most of the holes. Because of the extensive use of golfcarts, the fairways get beaten down, but the greens are usually immaculate. Last year (2001) there was some problems with the greens on the front side that appears to be taken care of now.
