This is a Gary Player designed course and nicely maintained for a links course.
It is a wide open front nine...wooded back nine.One hole bordering the Colorodo River.Odjulating fairways,give you some up and downhill lies.Plenty of sand and enough water to make for a challanging round.

great...i thought the pro shop to be nice...with a bar cook,and nice place to eat or take a break.

Rio is well maintained, front 9 is wide open and it gets a little tighter on the back 9. The fairways are in super condition as are the greens (super fast lately). It is not a hard course if you can somehow get out there when there is no wind which happens about 1 day every other year. Length wise... all par 5's are reachable except #4 from the tips. Need to put in better OB and Hazard stakes. Its a great course for the price and worth coming down to try.

No cart girls, water cans need to be locked and maintained better. Pro shop is no good.
