Nice country atmosphere,Fairly Challenging, Uncongested for most part,quiet and relaxing.

Alsation is located roughly 20-30 miles west of san antonio in or around Castroville Texas. This a pretty good place to play when you consider price and how traffic there is slower. Greens are nice as well as fairways. Theres some interesting holes as well as some tough areas but not overly hard. They do a pretty good job of care of the course. Prices have increased as of late. I would say that it rivals some of the Muni's in S.A. but isnt much better than them. As of now since it is out of town and more expensive i would probably not pick thjis place over the Muni's unless I wanted to get away from the congestion of city courses.
