Shoots in the 90s

This course is the perfect getaway from overplayed, cookie-cutter courses in the metroplex. If you're looking for wide-open fairways for long-drive bragging rights you won't find them here. The course can be tight and frustrating, but very rewarding. The greens are among the best in North Texas and the course utilizes the natural surroundings well.

I must agree with everyone, this is a great course. It strikes a balance between nature and gimmiktry so you don't feel like your at an amusement park, yet it is that well maintained. It favors a right hand draw bias and can be frustrating even with well struck shots.

Shoots in the 80s

My favorite course anywhere! Gorgeous. 3 fantastic par 3s (2, 7 and 12) and 3 fantastic par 5s (3, 5 and 14). Even the mediocre holes are interesting compared to other courses. Lots of elevation changes, side hill lies, uphill and downhill lies, doglegs left and right. Sugar Tree DEFINTELY rewards good shots and punishes loose ones. I strongly recommend it to anyone with an 18 handicap or lower. Higher handicaps should also come, but bring a good attitude and some extra golf balls. It's well worth the drive.

Customer Service

Friendly. Excellent food.

Shoot in the 70s

Great, relaxing layout out in the country. Very scenic, tranquil setting which offers the feeling of seclusion. Fairly short course, but with a premium on shotmaking. Most holes play right to left with many blind tee shots, which may be hazerdous the first time through. Greens putt and hold well and course is always very well manicured. Good elevation changes and wonderful signature hole...#12..par three over water and waterfall. A players course. Certainly worth the drive...about 30 min. west of Fort Worth.

Shoot in the 90s

Great course. Very scenic and relaxing. Lots of trees, water comes into play on several holes. Course has been in great shape about every time I have played it. It is a bit off the beaten path from Ft. Worth, but worth the drive.

Customer Service

played in a cold drizzle one time. A friend had forgotten to bring a jacket. The owner scarfed one up for him to use.
