Chapparral is a small but nice little muni course. Truely only 9 holes long, on the weekend greens fees will cost you $12, and with the course as sparsely played as it is, you can probably get in 27 holes. Although I've only played it in the winter, it seems to be a bit marshy. Maybe that will change in the summer. In any case, it helps it play longer than it's true distance, plus the layout of the holes prevent the big hitters from owning all the holes. If you're looking for a basic course, an excellent beginner's course that is still challenging for intermediate golfers, Chapparral is your place. Similar Products Used: The club house has a small grill/drinks, and seems to be a popular hang-out for a lot of locals --especially for card playing or watching the Texans. |
