Shoots in the 80s

Beware!

A good afternoon of golf was ruined when after returning to the parking lot my wife and I discovered that someone had hit our new BMW leaving a very nasty and noticeable dent and scratch on the side. I searched the windshield for a note and went into the pro shop to find out if anyone had left a name/note to alert us to the accident. No note was found.

Although the course played ok and we enjoyed the round, I will not be returning to a course where the membership obviously has so little respect for others property that they will not take responsibility for damages caused by their actions. I made a point of parking in an spot that would minimize the opportunity of being involved in an accident by parking in a spot with only one side exposed to other cars…well it worked...they hit the exposed side. I did ask if there were a lot of non-members on the course on the day of the accident and the shop staff indicated that we were basically the only non-members to play on the Friday afternoon of the accident. This leads me to believe that a member struck my car.

If you do decide to play one of these Sun City courses (Legacy or White Wing), I would recommend that you park as far as possible from other cars. It is a retirement community and obviously the drivers there are not as capable as what you will find at courses frequented by a younger group of players.

Have a nice day.

This course is AWESOME. Overall condition of course is excellent. KUDOS-to the groundcrew. Course very challenging and fun to play for all handicap levels. Course layout is well thoughtout. Large traps and plenty of big trees. Several holes with tee-shot over large body of water. Very intimidating. Used every club in my bag. Pace of play was great, was never rushed or slowed down. Signature Hole#9 with the waterfall, one of the prettiest holes, I ever played. Definetly worth the price($70.00 weekend) and the drive from Austin.

Customer Service

This is an outstanding course that has the Hill Country feel and wide open spaces to enjoy. Fairways are wide and a mixture of hazards make each club selection very important. The greens are true and the overall maintenence of the course was fantastic. Several risk-reward holes to challenge any level of golfer......and a perfect mix of doglegs, traps, water and trees to contend with . Pay attention to yardage markers...they are your friends.I witnessed the best round in my golf life here...a 67 from the Tips!....(I could have shot that if I would had stopped after 14 holes.)
