"A bad Design Poorly Implemented" would be a good title for this course. The original design has been over-printed by a second designer who put in many "pot ponds." Not pot bunkers, but little "pot ponds." Some are dug on the sides of hills, and look like abandoned quarries. It is a must ride course, as often the next tee is many yards from the last green. Tee shots have signs like "249 to water." Even though the course is near Houston, one never hears it mentioned because of its poor design. Maintenance is a problem because of lack of funds. No fairway irrigation. Some hokey hole lay-outs in addition to the small, poor water hazards.
