I played this course on Saturday March 29, 2008. The course was in decent shape. The grass was still dormant, but there was very good coverage throughout the course. The course is very flat, it used to be on an air force base. There are some very tiny areas of exposed concrete, not in any fairways, but maybe 2 or 3 areas. There is no water, but lots of sand. The greens were playing very fast, and made it quite difficult when approaching from the side. The course is empty in the mornings. Business picks up in the evening. We played at 8:00 AM and during the entire time we were on course, a total of maybe 5 groups came one. I love the small town, laid-back feel of the course. The fast greens are the challenge of this course, the flat fairways keep the experience fun. Great place to play.
