A fun, family based golf community that has plenty of young and senior golfers who actually LIKE playing with each other. Course is tricky, as it initially appears that it can be tamed, but just as suddenly will eat your lunch.

We played after some nasy rain and struggled in the tough rough.

Hearthstone Country Club appears to have the most friendly population of Golfers and residents that I've ever had the pleasure of socializing with. The tight-nit small golf community ranges from Millionaires to thousandaires and you'd never know the difference between the two. Families commonly move within the community when upgrading or downgrading their homes but rarely leave unless business takes them away. The staff is friendly, the greens are fantastic and compete with the best in Houston, and most importantly, the membership is wonderful.

The restuarant had great food and the Clubhouse, while a bit smokey- housed laughs, drinks galore, sports on the tube and cards players scattered throughout.

Par 3's are long and tough from the back tees and the par 5's are fun can reach a few in 2 if you risk it. Tough finishing holes on each 9 especially on the Jack Rabbit 9(may be one of the best finishing holes in town). The greens were great; rolled like pool tables. Only problem with the greens were I didn't have anything to blame when I missed a putt.

None really some minor conditions in the rough but looked like a result of the 12 days of rain.

Great 27 hole course. Better Private club. Most everyone I came in contact with was very friendly. The locker room was a fun place to be after thr round.

Customer Service

Pro Shop was good. The Locker Room was great.
