First time I played this course i was very disappointed with the layout and the condition, but more the layout. A few months later I came back and played it again after playing some other courses and am convinced this course is a great deal for the price especially if you go for the twilight. A little noisy with Ellington Field nearby. The layout of this course is definitely not friendly to those who want to walk the course.

Model Reviewed: Pasadena Municipal

This is certainly a "get-what-you-pay-for" course. I paid $9.00 on a Wednesday to walk. The price with cart is $22.00 which I think is a bit steep for what you get. The layout is not the best for those who walk since there a couple of long treks to get to the next hole (7->8 and 13->14). While this course ranks on he bottom of my budget golf list for Southeast Houston, I enjoyed it and will definately play there again. The better courses IMHO are: 1-San Jacinto, 2-Bayou GC, 3-Beacon Lakes

Customer Service

The staff was helpful and provided me with a map. There is a locker room, but the shower was used as a janitor storage room.

this is the worst course you will ever play...its always in terrible shape, its flat as a pancake and is located right next to a major airport to provide the soothing sound of jet engines through out your round....its an awful course...however, under 18 on a weekday....you can play 9 holes for 2 dollars...u truly get what you pay for

Pasadena-Ellington is a flat no-character public course. The cost is cheap at it shows. The greens are like concrete. Even Tiger Woods could not stop or back a ball up on these greens. The fairways are green is the best I can offer. Lots of crab grass a grass and weeds that are cut down to fairway lenght.

Course has enough water and sand to make it challenging if you spray the ball. Lots of wind because of the location.

Summary in a phrase "you get what you pay for".

Range is a disaster. Might as well be out in a cow pasture hitting shag balls.

The course was nicer than I expected and for the price it is a good round of golf. Water sneaks up on you in some places, many ditches and canals that sprinkle the course. The greens are super fast, especially going down hill. 1,4,6,14 and 17 are holes where you get a chance to score. Sand is pretty shoddy in places.
