This is a very challenging golf course, even from the white tees. Narrow fairways lined with old oak and pine trees and houses. There is OB on every hole, and water on about half. Condition of fairways, greens and rough is good, but there is a drainage problem which makes many of the sand traps unplayable. Holes are very well laid out. Poor shot choices are punished, good shots rewarded. Greens will hold a shot and are not too fast. I am a current member and have played the course about 10 times. The par five’s are the best holes on the course. All four are very interesting, challenging and beautiful. The course is long enough, but distance is not nearly as important as accuracy.

Customer Service

Very good. Food is good and prices are fair for a CC. Pro shop has all the basic necessities. Large banquet area for private parties, and a pretty location with a view of Lake Houston.
