this is a fun course overall. Par 5's are decent, big birdie opportunities on the par 3's. I hate #17, hole is over water, plan on losing a couple is you don't take enough club. Otherwise, its a decent price, with good challenges.

The staff is always nice, the people there are always friendly, I played here the other day, and wound up hooking up with a 3 some because of the unusually slow pace. There are always folks there wanting another person in their group.

This is a true hill country gem that is a good value and lots of fun to play. With the #1 'flag hole' and the #17 par 5 signature waterfall/lake hole as highlights, Schiener is meant for all ages and skill levels. Course is in good condition and greens roll true. Make an effort to play here and you won't be disappointed.

I've played this course 3 times in the past 3 years (in Nov.) and each time it's been in great shape and well maintained. The course is open enough to really let loose but plenty of water, trees & sand hazards to keep you in check. #17 is a really tough par 5 but there are several holes that provide birdie opportunities. The staff is helpful and I would recommend this fun course to everyone.
