The City took over the course in August of 2008. It is in excellent condition most of the time (the drought was hard on the course but the Greens Staff did a good job.) It is a little deceiving. It looks short on the card but due to elevation changes and sharp doglegs, it plays longer. Holes # 10 - 12 are truly an "amen corner". I play it regularly and enjoy it every time.

Decent course to play if you are in the area. Not particular challenging, as it has no bunkers that I could remember, and very little water to contend with. However, there are holes where the trees become a big factor in your drive or approach. There are several holes where you are driving blind over a hillside. This is a little disconcerting considering there are a lot of houses lining the fairways. The conditions are okay, and the views are nice in places. Overall, this course is on par with a very nice municipal or low-end public fee course.

I think that some of yardage markers were a bit off; however didn't make to much of a difference except on the par 3's..

Good course with great views. fairways aren't that tight, and amazingly, most of the times you can find your ball if you miss the fairway.

The course is kept in great shape and the service on-site is great. The drink cart passed about 4-6 times. Also, they have water tanks about every third hole to wet the whisle.

The course is not as difficult as the twin course - Highlands - but it isn't easy either.

Great course to take friends from out of town and show them the natural beauty of Lake Travis and start of hill country.
