Course really could use some changes. Fairways are decent (that's being nice)-hard to determine where the 1st cut of rough is; when there is rough. A large compost heap of branches can be found on the turn (Creek). Greens putt true, but what about everything else....they don't even take checks anymore, it's cash or credit...what if I can only play that Thurday and Dir Dep goes in that same night........too bad. Driving range on premises, but don't hook or slice it...you kill some gophers residing in Gopher Town. Aside from the lack of resiliance, good layout and 6300+ yards can hand you a challange any golfer could could dig for less that $35 on the weekend.

Best Muni in Lubbock. Located in the only area of town with natural trees, water, and elevation changes. Decent value, close to tech, downtown, and airport. Has two courses: Creek and Canyon. Canyon has much more elevation changes and is more difficult.
