Shoots in the 90s

Played this course after a couple days of heavy rain. The course was in good overall condition; the fairways drained well and the greens were receptive and rolled true. Bunkers were washed out and in need of erosion repair in several cases. Overall, a good experience. Lots of elevation changes w/ uneven lies on many shots. Well maintained, however, some questionable pin placements on several greens. Some residental area mixed in w/ open, parklike setting.

Customer Service

Good. Pleasant greeting from starter w/ helpful course info.

Shoots in the 90s

This is by far one of the best values in all of Texas golf. I play here often, mainly because the course is in great shape, the price is never over $49 (twilight is around $38), and it has some great holes. Views are wonderful. It is an interesting course that makes you use all the shots in your bag.

Customer Service

Staff has always been friendly.

Shoots in the 80s

My favorite course in the San Antonio area. It is my favorite because it's not over crowded or over used. The tee boxes are flat, the fairways are green and the greens put true. Did I mention I like this course? The fee's are reasonable and the staff are great.

Customer Service

Great.

Shoot in the 80s

The Bandit is, by far, one of the best golf values in the greater San Antonio area. The management finally brought the prices to a more suitable level recently. The previous reviewer called the Bandit an easy course. Maybe he's used to playing Augusta or Pebble Beach. If your an 80's kind of shooter, this course can easily make you a 90's type. Several holes are truly "eye candy" to the golfer that appreciates a well-maintained. You'll use every shot in your bag.

Shoot in the 80s

This course was in excellent shape. I teed off early in the morning and was the first on the course. The greens were cut with the exception of about two holes. The uncut greens were slightly slower but still in great shape. The maintenance staff always stopped and until I finished playing through. This was my first time on the course, but there were no problems finding holes or shapes of holes.
The tees were also in great shape.
There was really no place to stop for a drink that I could see, but a minor inconvenience.
A relatively easy course, but well manicured, and a real pleasure to play.

Customer Service

Tee time easy to make, but proshop just left you hanging on trying to find driving range. Got to driving range before I realized that the tokens had to be exchanged for balls halfway back to proshop.

Not really great snack bar facilities, proshop staff acceptable, not overly friendly.
