Bandit, The course
this fits the true definition of a hidden gem. it's located just north of San Antonio, TX in New Braunfels. when we arrived we were greeted in the parking lot by someone who put our clubs on a cart, and cheerfully directed where to go to sign in. the proshop was well stocked and asthetically pleasing. price was $49 on weekend. the parking lot was full, but the course was not overcrowded. we had 2 groups of 4, and kept a nice pace. we were never pushed form the group behind us, not did we have to wait on anyone. the scenery was beautiful. except for one green which had recently been aerated, all of the fairways and remaing greens were in great shape. most faiways were tight, but the course was well marked. the yardage book was very helpful. this will be a regular course for me when i go to SA in the future. Customer Service friendly in proshop. cart service came around at least 3 times. |
