overall, pretty good course. creek #1 and creek #2 have some of the worst bunkers I have ever played. (No sand just dirt and whatever).
Quality of the course has really gone downhill since Anthony Land left as director of golf 3 or 4 years ago.
It is very disappointing for an upscale course. I play there quite a bit and the quality seems to be getting worse instead of better.

the most enjoyable, scenic round of golf in Central Texas. practice green is large, challenging and representative of those on the course.

driving range is small and across the street from the clubhouse.

MY FAVORITE--the best course in Central Texas, hands down. they often run specials making their affordable fees even more reasonable. has 27 holes including the 9 added last year. the layout is challenging, allowing more than one way to attack several of the holes. the greens have always been in good to great shape, even in the scorching hot Texas sun. A must play course!

Fairways and greens in good shape, even in summer. Nice settings on several holes.

No glaring weaknesses.

Very enjoyable course and not too difficult. Nine holes have been added this year and I haven't played them yet. The course is not long. #1 tees are side by side and elevated about 30 feet above the fairway. Nice starting holes for each nine. Signature hole is #3, the "heart of Texas" hole, and is a blind drive. A decent drive will leave you on the bend in a dogleg, lookng down to the heart shaped green. Long hitters won't need a driver. You'll cross Mill Creek several times during your play and the amount of water depends on the rain. #8 & #9 cross the widest part of the creek at an angle.
The course is well maintained and was in good condition, even last summer.

Customer Service

Both times I've been on a golf package weekend. Service was good both on the course and rooms. We had A/C problems on our room and they had someone come immediately to try to fix it and moved us to another room when they decided it would take a while to repair it.
