GET RID OF THE 5-SOMES, OR MAKE THEM KEEP PACE.

Great condition. Some of the best greens around the area. You better know how to lag putt on these huge greens. Fairways and rough is perfect. Currently doing a little work on some of the sand traps, but overall great conditions.

I have played numerous rounds at Bentwood over the past 6 months. Staff has been courteous. Pace of play terrific. T-times are 10 minute spaced. These guys are doing everything right, EXCEPT, they allow 5-somes. Actually, I dont have a problem with 5-somes. I belonged to a very nice private in Pearland which allowed 5-somes. But the marshall better not see us getting behind, or stacking up the course. My last round at Bentwood was behind a 5-some of average to poor players playing wolf. There was no-one in front of them all day. They took 5hrs 10min to hack around. The marshall came by 2-3 times and did'nt seem to notice. The 7-8 groups stacked up behind them definetly noticed.

I could not find any.

This may be Houston's best kept secret. The course has always been in excellent condition. Large greens, 2 to 3 clubs. This course will require you to use every club in the bag. At $50 weekend green fees it can't be beat.
